Directions
Beat all the ingredients for the Dough in a large bowl with a mixer until well blended. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough with your hands for 10 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Shape the dough into a ball. Place it in a large greased bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then let it stand in a warm place for 1-½ hours.
Mash the tomatoes in a large bowl with your hands. Stir in the Tomato Sauce Seasoning Blend.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces (or into 16 equal pieces if making mini pizzas). Roll each piece of dough into a ball.
Place the balls of dough, 4 inches apart, in a lightly floured large baking dish. Dust the dough with additional flour. Cover the dough with plastic wrap, then let it rise again at room temperature for 1 hour.
Position the oven rack in the lower third of the oven. Preheat a large baking sheet on the oven rack, then preheat it in a 475°F oven.
Meanwhile, roll out each large ball of dough on a floured work surface into a 9-inch round (or roll each small ball of dough into a 2-inch round). Place the dough rounds, 2 inches apart, on a large sheet of parchment paper. Spread with the Tomato Sauce; top with the mozzarella cheese.
Cut 4 each of the green and black olives in half; place them on the pizzas. Cut the remaining olives in half, then cut each half into 8 slices. Arrange the olive slices around the halved olives to resemble spiders.
Cut each pepper into quarters, then cut each quarter into narrow strips.
Place the salami slices on the pizzas for the spiders’ bodies. Arrange the pepper strips around the salami slices for the spiders’ legs.
Remove the hot baking sheet from the oven. Use the parchment paper to carefully help transfer the pizzas, one at a time, from the parchment paper to the hot baking sheet.
Bake the pizzas for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges of the crusts are golden brown.
Remove the pizzas from the oven. Drizzle lightly with olive oil. Sprinkle with the Spicy Pizza Topping.
