Spice up your Gnocchi Bolognese Bake!

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp
    JS Bolognese Seasoning Blend
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, divided
  • 1 pkg.
    (16 oz.) refrigerated gnocchi
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 2
    red onions, finely chopped
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1
    can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • ¾ cup
    water
  • 1
    cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ bunch
    of fresh basil

Directions

Heat 1 Tbsp. of the oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium heat. Add the gnocchi and cook for 4 minutes., turning after 2 minutes. Spoon the gnocchi into a bowl and cover to keep warm.

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Heat the remaining oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef; cook 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring frequently. Add the onions and garlic; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste; cook for 1 minute. Add the tomatoes and water; stir. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the Bolognese (Seasoning Blend).

Add the gnocchi; toss to evenly coat the gnocchi with the sauce. Top with the cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes or until heated through.

Top with the basil before serving.
