Ingredients

    fully ripe avocados
  • 1 can
    (16 oz.) garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed
  • ½ bunch
    of fresh parsley
  • 3 Tbsp
    tahini
  • 2
    cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup
    fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • ½ tsp
    ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp
    salt

Directions

Cut the avocados in half. Remove the pits, then scoop the flesh into a food processor or blender container.

Add the garbanzo beans, parsley, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin and salt; process until well blended, stopping occasionally to scrape down the side of the food processor.

Spoon the hummus into a serving bowl.

Top with the Avocado Topping.

Tip:

Serve this easy-to-make hummus with your favorite fresh vegetable dippers, pita bread or tortilla chips.
